Plans are drawn to meet the Dallas area building codes. Building codes vary from area to area and it is the buyers responsibility to comply with local codes. For modifications to comply with codes or site conditions, the assistance of an architect or building designer may be necessary.

Some of our plans have slab on grade foundation plans, but most foundation plans are prepared by local engineering firms for soil conditions in this area. We do not have access to those drawings. In that case foundation plans would need to be prepared locally.

Since mechanical and plumbing codes and systems vary, the design is left to the builder and/or the contractor. The availability of some products in the plans cannot be guaranteed.

Plans By Design shall not be held responsible for any and all cost, expenses, damages or other liability of any nature arising out of, in connection with, or in any way related to plans prepared by Plans By Design, including without limitation, defect in design or material specifications. Plans are an instrument of service and are the property of Plans By Design, and may not be reproduced or reproductions thereof used without our written permission. Plans are not returnable.
